Marnie Gilder is an Australian artist who in a former life worked as a Graphic Designer but now makes the most divine screen prints. Fashion Friday - The Vintage Dress Company

So one of my favourite magazine reads Frankie featured The Vintage Dress Company in a blog post here so being a fan of vintage clothing especially as a source of print inspiration I went on over to The Vintage Dress Company website to see what all the fuss was about. Owner Sharon Bratton has collated a range of vintage pieces from previous eras,  some of which have the most wonderful prints and patterns.

Suzani, Suzani, Suzani

I am fascinated by Suzani fabrics - you can read more about them here - the intricate embroidery and beautiful patterns and design motifs are so inspiring and almost have another worldly feel about them. I have noticed them popping up on blogs and featuring more in fashion and homewares and I would love to own one one day. I did a little bit of image research online and created a Pinterest board to capture some Suzani inspiration - check it out here.
