Thanks to Frankie magazine I recently discovered the work of Welsh designer and mixed media illustrator Laura Redburn. Laura creates dreamy like surface pattern designs inspired by colour, animals. nature and science fiction - you can see more of her work here and here.

Fashion Friday - Mister Zimi

Happy Friday!!! I wanted to share some lovely and very fashionable prints and patterns from Mister Zimi to celebrate this Fashion Friday post. This Bali-based brand is a new discovery for me and I am loving every single print. Have a fab weekend everyone!

POP Print On Paper

I'm super excited to introduce surface pattern designer Ciana to the IHPP readers. Montreal based Ciana is the creative genius behind Pop Print On Paper. Her goal is to provide original and well crafted digital designs for creative projects like scrap-booking, card making and invitations. I've picked out a few wonderful designs [there are soooooo many!!!] to share in this post but you can see more of Ciana's pretty patterns and designs in her Etsy store here and on her blog here.

Hi All - Can you believe its already November!!! Where is this year going??? As you can probably tell I've been busy - work, life, more work, running a small business and the blog!!! A little while ago I posted this on the blog- click here.

So I wanted to put out another post asking for anyone who is interested in being an intern with IHPP. Ideally you will have a passion for surface pattern design or textile design or illustration and be able to appeal to the I Heart Prints & Patterns audience. Please note that this would be an unpaid internship but you can be based anywhere in the world!!
