Celia Birtwell vs Uniqlo

I love a designer collaboration especially when it involves one of my favourite overseas retail brands Uniqlo. I recently read an article about a collaboration between iconic British fashion designer Celia Birtwell and Uniqlo which I wanted to share on the blog. This brightly printed collection is a great balance between the modern and timeless while still retaining Celia's sense of design whimsy.

To be honest I didn't really know a lot about Celia before reading about this design collaboration but I love her design sense and the quirkiness of her prints and patterns. Celia's archive prints have been re-worked and re-imagined for the Uniqlo range and feature on t-shirts, jeggings, culottes and tote bags- you can see the full range online here. Now to work out how to get my hands on this range. I wish Uniqlo shipped to Australia!
